A lash extension treatment involves applying individual synthetic lashes onto each natural eyelash to add extra length and volume. They’re perfect for holidays, a big event or just perfect lashes every day.
There are many different variations of lengths, thicknesses and curvatures which you can choose from after an initial consultation with your therapist to get the look you want. You can also get half sets or just corner lashes – depending on how full you want your flutter.
How Do You Care for Lashes?
Like any treatment, it’s important to follow the advised after care.
- Stay away from the water – With eyelash extensions this involves keeping lashes away from water for 24 hours and heat treatments, such as saunas or steam, after having them applied.
- Avoid certain products – Stay away from oil-based beauty products around the eye area especially oil-based eye make-up remover as these dissolved the glue much faster. Lots of eye make-up removers contain oil so make sure you get a lash-friendly cleanser to remove your make-up.
How Often Do I Need a Refill for Lash Extensions?
Lash extensions naturally fall out just as your own lashes would. So, the frequency of when you need a touch up is completely up to you and what your comfort level is for thickness. Whether you need to have your lashes filled every 2 weeks or only every month or so, we are more than ready to help you every step of the way!
